A little more world and content


Finally the next update! Due to a lot of non-game stuff this update was delayed a bit. So what is in there?

The biggest change is I have expanded the world generation. It still only generates 1 (large) chunk, but it is a little bit more interesting. To put the changes to use there is a fair bit more content. Several new recipe changes, new tiles, to flora, new things to fix. There are caves (although this needs some work mechanics wise), lakes (also needs works mechanic-wise).
The new content tripped up the extremely quick-and-dirty mesh code I was using so I did a bit of optimisation on that. It still takes a bit to load, and it is possible to cause it to grind to a halt. But it is WAY more performant than it was.
There are also a handful of UI fixes, a crash, and movement fixes.

There is a known bug where the loading screen gets stuck. It happens very infrequently and seems to be a timing bug so I haven't yet managed to find the cause. Hopefully the next update.

The next build will hopefully be more fixes and fleshing out the mechanics more (See caves & lakes above). Although there a few new things in my list to add in.
